LAUNCH

Equipping Teens to Contribute in the Life of the Church

LAUNCH is an intense, eight week program for teen students who are ready to take the next step in
their Christian faith and learn how they are a contributing part of God’s Kingdom plans.

By participating in LAUNCH students will…

  • Be able to articulate the story of the Kingdom of God and our response to it
  • Recognize competing stories and how they run counter to God’s story
  • Understand Emmanuel church structure and vision
  • Understand and practice spiritual disciplines as a way to respond to God’s story
  • Be able to share their personal testimony with peers.

This class presents a cohesive picture of what it means to be a Christian and how to live into the
Kingdom of God.

LAUNCH is not simply teaching on theology or the church, it is a class that is all about discipleship.
Students work with a coach, a mature adult believer from our church, who help them process,
internalize and work through the class. This is a great opportunity for intergenerational discipleship.

LAUNCH requires commitment and work. Students commit to attending each session or making up
those they miss. There are assignments each week that students work on with guidance from their
coaches. Homework ranges from memorizing verses and spiritual disciple assignments to inductive
Bible studies and personal testimonies. There is an assessment at the end of the course to make sure
students understand and have learned the information.

Take the challenge to LAUNCH your faith in Christ!
