NEXUS groups are small groups designed to help us discover the “nexus” between our lives and God’s Story. NEXUS are open, intergenerational groups that focus on reviewing, discussing and applying the principles of the Sunday sermons and discovering how they apply to our lives, our church and God’s purposes. The NEXUS group format includes scripture reading, discussion and prayer. NEXUS groups are great for those who want to go deeper with understanding how the Story of God intersects our lives and the life of our church. Current NEXUS Groups: Wednesdays, 9 am – 10:30 am in the Church Family Room. Child Care available. Women’s Ministry supports the vision of Emmanuel Church to cultivate maturity in Christ by providing opportunities for spiritual growth and seeking to equip all women for their role in the Kingdom of God.

On the first Saturday of the month at 11 AM. Emmanuel Church provides a meal to the hungry through the Lord’s Kitchen Ministry. Church volunteers serve the guests an outstanding meal in a restaurant-style environment. Clothing and canned food are also available for the guests to take. Volunteers are always needed. Adult Christian Education (ACE) classes are offered every Sunday morning at 9:30 and 11:00 AM and provide a “place to belong” for singles and couples who want to meet and fellowship with others in similar life stages.
