Adult Ministry

Emmanuel offers Life Groups, Growth Classes, and Bible Studies for adults at all stages. We also have many different ways you can get involved through service, and offer lots of practical support and resources to help you better navigate challenges like work, relationships, finances, and parenting.

Have you been a Christian for years and are looking to grow more or practice your faith better? Or are you just starting to explore your relationship with God? Across that spectrum, we do have a place for you!

Our Life Groups build community and facilitate growth in Christ. These Scripture-based fellowship groups are designed to develop healthy relationships, by sharing each other’s lives. Checking out a Life Group is as simple as contacting any of the Life Group leaders below– and connecting there is a great way to be known and know God better.

Children's Ministry

Emmanuel Church strives to partner with families in preparing the next generation to grow in their relationship with Jesus and feel secure in God’s love for them. We provide a secure, friendly, and stimulating environment where your child will feel welcomed and loved while they grow in their faith.

To learn more about ways to serve, please contact Stephanie at stephanie@emmanuelburbank.org

At Emmanuel Church babies first learn about the love of Jesus through the gentle arms and soothing words and playful hearts of our wonderful volunteer nursery workers.

During the preschool years, the children are introduced to biblical truths in an age-appropriate manner by dedicated and trained teachers and assistants. God’s love for them is shared and modeled.

Children’s Ministry: 9:30 a.m.
Elementary aged students, in grades K-5, are checked in before the worship service (in front of the church), and then go to our Children’s Ministry building for an interactive program. Through worship, games and exploration of the Bible, children come to understand the Story of God as told in the Bible and their role in God’s story.

Sunday School: 11 a.m.

During our Sunday School hour, children are divided into grade-level classes for a more directed curriculum. Emmanuel Church is proud to use the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum which uses scripture to tell the Story of Jesus.
