As we pray this week, we are participating in the Story of God by loving God with undivided hearts

Scriptures

Psalm 86:11-12: Teach me your way, Lord,

    that I may rely on your faithfulness;

give me an undivided heart,

    that I may fear your name.

I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart;

    I will glorify your name forever.

Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart

    and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways submit to him,

    and he will make your paths straight.

Notice

Our hearts are naturally divided. A heart wholly given over to God is not something we can manufacture or will into being, it is something we have to constantly come to God seeking. 

Pray

Lord, take my heart and make it wholly given over to you. 

Let me love you in all things, trust you in all things, worship you in all things, honor you in all things, and glorify 

you in all things.

May all that I am reflect all that you are to those around me.

Practice

This week, start each morning reciting Psalm 86:11-12.

During the day, recite, “Lord Jesus, be glorified today.”

Each evening before bed, recite Proverbs 3:5-6.
